2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK 320 Coupe – $2,999 CASH ONLY

This CLK 320 is not a perfect car, and we are not trying to pretend it is. It is an older Mercedes with higher mileage, which is exactly why we are only asking $2,999. We are trying to price it fairly and sell it quickly, but we also want to be upfront and honest about the condition of the vehicle and the flaws we found.

According to the Carfax report, this vehicle has a clean title, 3 previous owners, and 25 service records available. The second owner kept the vehicle from 2008 until late 2023 and averaged around 14,000 miles per year. There is one accident reported back in August 2015 from a police report submitted through an insurance agency. The last owner used it as a personal vehicle before we acquired it this year.

The vehicle currently has approximately 262,000 miles, which may sound high at first, but if you do the math, it averages only about 12,600 miles per year since new — very normal yearly driving for a California car. The 3.2 Liter V6 engine is known for being one of Mercedes-Benz’s more reliable engines, and this car still drives very well and passes smog with no issues.

Now let’s talk about the flaws, because we want buyers to know exactly what they are getting.

Exterior:
The outside of the vehicle is actually in decent condition overall. It does not have major dents or major scratches, but there are cosmetic imperfections. The clear coat is fading in some areas, mostly on the flat surfaces of the front bumper, rear bumper, and both side mirrors. It is not extremely noticeable, but it is there. Also, the chrome molding on the passenger side rear quarter panel is missing.

Interior / Functional Issues:
This is where the bigger flaws are. It appears the car previously had an aftermarket radio system installed. When it was removed or disconnected, the sound stopped working. The radio powers on and appears to function, but there is currently no sound coming through the speakers.

Also, the rear side windows are not functioning properly. On these CLK coupes, the rear windows pop open slightly when opening the doors. We do not recommend operating the rear windows because they are difficult to reposition correctly once moved. The front windows work fine, but the rear windows should basically be considered inoperative.

Besides those issues, the car still has a very solid driving feel and comes with nice chrome wheels that we installed.

This vehicle is being offered as a CASH ONLY vehicle. Due to the age, mileage, and overall condition, this vehicle is not available for financing.
