2008 Scion tC Spec

This 2008 Scion tC is a clean title, one-owner vehicle with only 119,000 miles. According to the CARFAX report, it has 20 documented service history records and 31 detailed history entries, showing that it has been regularly serviced throughout its life.

Mechanically, the car starts, runs, drives, shifts, brakes, and passed the California smog inspection without any issues. The air conditioning and heater both work properly, it comes with the original factory radio, a panoramic glass roof, and all four tires are in good condition.

Now for the honest part.

Although the title is clean, it's obvious the car was involved in a previous rear-end accident. The repair on the driver's side rear wheel arch was not done particularly well, and you can see it if you look closely. The exterior also shows its age. The hood has clear coat failure from years in the sun, there are scratches and cosmetic imperfections around the body, and the rear bumper has some paint damage. None of these cosmetic issues affect how the car drives, but we want buyers to know exactly what they're coming to see.

The trunk currently does not open because the trunk release actuator/handle is broken. This is a common issue on first-generation Scion tCs. We chose to leave it as-is so the next owner can decide whether or not they want to replace it.

The interior shows normal wear for an 18-year-old vehicle, but overall the seats are still in good condition and present well.
