This is a 2011 Chevrolet HHR LT with 250,000 miles, a clean title, and an asking price of $2,999 plus tax and fees. This is an older, high-mileage vehicle, so we want to be upfront about what you're getting rather than pretend it is something it isn't.

According to Carfax and AutoCheck, this HHR has had 4 previous owners. The first owner was a rental company and kept it for about two years. The second owner also had it for about two years. The third owner had it from 2016 until 2021, and the fourth owner had it from 2021 until now. The history shows a couple of minor damages, one reported in 2013 and another in 2016. Both are listed as minor damage. The rear bumper appears to have been repainted at some point, and the clear coat is now peeling in that area. We have pictures of this and the other cosmetic imperfections on our website so you can see them for yourself.

The HHR comes with the 2.2-liter 4-cylinder engine and automatic transmission. It is also capable of running E85 ethanol fuel, which can be an option when you're looking to save a little money at the pump, depending on local fuel prices. With 250k miles, it has averaged roughly 16,000 miles per year, which is actually close to the typical annual driving mileage in California.

The good stuff: the tires are in really good condition, the power windows and locks are working properly, and it drives the way it should. It also passed smog without any problems. We recently replaced some front suspension components, including control arms, and we performed an oil change, so it is ready for its next owner.

Now for the things we don't want to hide: obviously, the 250k miles are the biggest consideration. The clear coat is peeling on the rear bumper as mentioned above. Also, the ABS light sometimes comes on and stays on for a couple of minutes before going away. We are not going to tell you that this is "nothing" because we don't know exactly why it happens. It could require further diagnosis, so please take that into consideration when buying the vehicle.

You are more than welcome to have the HHR inspected by your own mechanic before purchasing it. We have no problem with that and actually encourage it, especially with a vehicle with this many miles.

Because we have already put money into the front suspension and performed the oil service, our price is FIRM at $2,999. There is no room for negotiation. The price does not include tax, dealer fees, or DMV fees. Financing is NOT available on this vehicle because of the low sale price.
