2005 Honda Civic Coupe LX – Reliable and Affordable

If you do the math, this car has been driven 14,000 miles per year, which is right in line with California’s average. And because it’s a Honda, it’s still running strong—just like you’d expect.

To make sure it’s in good shape, we replaced all motor mounts and the valve cover gasket, changed the oil, and added a fresh set of hubcaps. The engine and transmission feel strong, and it passed the smog check with no issues.

Of course, it’s not perfect. The body has some scratches, with the front driver-side bumper corner being the most noticeable. Inside, the seats have some stains, but everything works, including the AC, heater, and an aftermarket Pioneer radio with Bluetooth capability. Overall, it’s a solid car for the price.
